Athletic Trainer Jobs in Tempe, AZ
An Athletic Trainer in the fitness and recreation industry is a certified health professional who collaborates with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Certification is often required; the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) is the nationally recognized certifying body. Prior to becoming an Athletic Trainer, individuals may have roles such as a Fitness Instructor, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Sports Medicine Aid.
